Welcome to The Gluten Free Crumb. I am so happy you found me!

After being diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2015, I felt left out of every holiday meal, birthday celebration, and office party. I would look at the delicious cakes, cookies, and holiday treats with envy, sad that I was left out of the festivities.

Fast forward a few years and I started baking gluten free items on my own. I found I could tweak most recipes to make them compliant with my diet. I fell in love with baking, and to be honest, I was GOOD at it. I received requests to bring my gluten free goods to gatherings. Enter in the idea of starting a bakery some day.

Now in 2025, The Gluten Free Crumb is no longer just a dream, it became my reality. I can now share my Celiac friendly baked goods with the community that has been left out of so much.

Please reach out to me with any questions, or if you have a favorite recipe that you would like me to recreate in a gluten free form. I look forward to serving you soon!

~Deb

What people are saying

  • 5 out of 5 stars

I would like to give a 5 out of 5 stars for The GF Crumb Cupcakes that I tasted at a gathering. They were sooooo moist and delicious! They are the best that I’ve ever eaten. I craved the cupcakes so much that I made sure that we had some for our next party.

  • Not GF, but love these brownies

I am NOT Gluten Free, nor do I prefer food that has be altered to be GF, I can tell pretty quick when something has been made GF, my family has celiac so I eat GF regularly and have gotten used to it but I still prefer the Gluten in my food. When I tell you that I like these brownies, it's understatement, they are so good. I would have no idea that they are GF if it wasn't for the fact my family can eat them.  The cookies are also very good, they have a hint of GF taste but honestly I probably wouldn't have noticed or paid any attention to if I had not known they are GF. I am a cookie junkie and can sit with glasses of milk and eat cookies non stop and this is the same for "The GF Crumb" cookies. A lot of GF recipes give my stomach the rumbles, the only rumbling I get from "The GF Crumb" are cravings for more. - J.Myers.

  • Best Banana Muffins EVER

Deb is the best chocolate chip banana bread maker there is!  I like them with Xtra chocolate chips!  My husband says her regular recipe is perfect. You can never have too much chocolate!

She also makes a delicious chocolate cream pie. It melts in your mouth like butter. I order one every year for my birthday instead of cake.

Give her a try you won't be disappointed your waistline may get bigger tho.

  • Cupcakes are a definite favorite

The chocolate chip cookies are a perfect blend of softness and flavor that makes every bite melt in your mouth and has everyone coming back for more.

The cupcakes are sure to leave any sweet tooth smiling from ear to ear, they are a definite favorite  - C.M.

  • Portion size is huge

Deb’s brownies were amazing! You honestly couldn’t tell they were gluten free - so rich and delicious. The portions were huge for the price, and you can tell they’re made with care. I’d definitely recommend supporting her business! - P. Mojica

  • Cupcake convert

I’m not a cupcake person. Let me say that louder for the people in the back: I. Am. Not. A. Cupcake. Person.

I only bought these cupcakes because my son wanted them. This was supposed to be a selfless mom moment. A quick purchase. No emotional attachment.

And then I took one bite.

I ordered the chocolate cupcake with chocolate Oreo buttercream frosting, fully intending to do what I always do: knock the frosting off and eat just the cake. Frosting and I have never been friends.

But this frosting… this frosting looked too scrumptious to ignore. So I tried it.

And friends, I have been converted.

That Oreo buttercream was creamy, rich, perfectly sweet, and somehow not overpowering at all. Paired with the moistest, most flavorful chocolate cupcake I’ve ever had in my life, it was an absolute game changer. The kind of cupcake that makes you pause, stare into the distance, and question everything you thought you knew about dessert.

I would like to publicly admit that I hid cupcakes from my own child. Not accidentally. Strategically. I now have a personal stash because I cannot imagine life without these cupcakes in it.

So yes, I walked in as a skeptical, non-cupcake-eating, frosting-avoiding mom… and I walked out a full-on believer who will absolutely be back. Next time, I’m ordering extras.
    For the kids.
(And definitely for me.) - B. Visser

  • Rave reviews

    She did it again, folks.

Deb made cupcakes for my Thanksgiving, and once again absolutely nailed it. Every single person was raving about them — like mid-bite, talking-with-their-mouth-full raving.

By the end of the night, guests weren’t asking if they were good… they were asking, “Is there any left I can take home for later?”

Too bad there weren’t any leftovers — because I had already hidden some for myself. Priorities.

Thanksgiving leftovers are serious business in our family, and Deb’s cupcakes somehow made the list right alongside stuffing and ham. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Once again: incredible cupcakes, very happy crowd, and absolutely zero surprise that Deb knocked it out of the park.
